What a Full Tear-Off Means
A roof replacement starts with removing everything down to the deck. We strip the old shingles, nails, flashing, and underlayment. It takes one to two days depending on your roof size and pitch. Once the deck is bare, we inspect for rot or damage that wouldn't show under old shingles. Most homeowners never see that part—but it matters.
We handle the tear-off ourselves. No subs, no shortcuts. A bad tear-off leaves debris in the gutters, fasteners in the yard, and uneven decking that causes problems later. We own the whole job.
Installation and Materials
After the deck is clean and any rot is patched, we lay new underlayment for water protection. Then shingles or metal panels go down according to manufacturer specs. Shingles are standard asphalt three-tab or architectural. Metal roofs last longer and stand up better to hail, and we can install those too.
